Our newly built office is designed to embody the same relaxed and optimistic energy that children feel at home, which Dr. Dina and her team want to bring to their patients. Our space’s calm and cozy Farmhouse style is punctuated by calming blues and grays. With colorful touches like vibrant artwork throughout the waiting room and treatment rooms, a colorful central wall lined with shiplap, and prizes that can be earned throughout their time in the office, the space is made to invite and engage kids throughout the entire course of their visit.

Honest, Compassionate, Joyful
The UPD team takes an honest, compassionate and joyful approach to treating our patients. Since dental decay progresses much faster in baby teeth than in adult teeth, we encourage regular visits to the dentist starting at age one. It’s in these pivotal visits that our team teaches kids (and their parents!) lifelong healthy oral care habits through that focus on preventative care. We offer an array of services to prevent tooth decay, catch restorative issues early on, and build a positive association with dental visits. We want all of our patients to have a life full of peace, love, and healthy teeth.

ABOUT
Dr. Dina Chehab
Dr. Dina Chehab graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Biology and was then awarded her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University Of Maryland School Of Dentistry. She continued her advanced post-doctoral specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Southern California and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, rated as one of the top 5 Children’s Hospital in the US by US News.
Dr. Chehab is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a published author because of her continued research and involvement in academia as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Maryland Dental School and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California’s Ostrow School of Dentistry.
As a pediatric dental specialist, Dr. Chehab is an advocate for children, who commits herself to delivering exceptional dental care for all infants, toddlers, children and adolescents including those with special health care needs and complex medical histories. She is also passionate about addressing concerns regarding access to oral health care and is determined to ensure that every child is able to receive the care and treatment they need.
Dr. Chehab tailors her care and treatment based on your child’s individual needs and wants to ensure that your child’s dental visit is both comfortable and enjoyable while providing them with the best treatment possible.
DENTAL HYGIENIST
Sara Eberle
Sara was born and raised in Frederick, and currently lives in downtown Frederick with her husband and three kids. She has a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from West Liberty University and has 12 years of pediatric dental hygiene experience.

Aleisha Ramos, RDA
Aleisha has been assisting in pediatric dental offices for over 8 years. She has always been great with children and has three nephews and nieces of her own. Aleisha has known she wanted to work in the dental field since before she can remember -- she wants to make people smile, whether it is with a joke or through her work.

I'm Teddi, Urbana Pediatric Dentistry's certified therapy dog! Dr. Dina is my doggie mom and takes great care of me.
I am proud to be the official mascot for UPD. As a therapy dog, I’m trained to be more in tune with emotions and know how to respond to them. I love when I get the chance to make our patients feel safe and happy. I’m a great listener and I love to snuggle.
